Dr Matthew Nixon, DC is your Chiropractor Madison AL.
Dr. Matt as he like to be called is originally from the Ft. Myers area of Florida. He was a graduate of Life University, College of Chiropractic in 1997. He has passed all 4 parts of the National Chiropractic Boards as well as his Physiotherapy Boards and the Alabama Board of Chiropractic Examination. After graduation, Dr. Matt opened a very successful chiropractic clinic in Ft. Meyers Florida. He then opened his second office in Cape Coral, Florida in 2001. There he honed his adjusting and diagnostic skills. Dr Millar says, "his adjusting is about as good as it gets. He has great hands and silky smooth adjustments. In 2012, he sold his Florida practices and his Anytime Fitness gym and moved to Alabama to be closer to his wife's family. He then opened Nixon Spine and Sport in Anniston, AL. In 2016 he received his Sport's Chiropractor designation from Texas Chiropractic College. He operated his clinic and a gym in Piedmont AL until joining Millar Chiropractic. Dr Matt is known for his "get to the true cause or root cause" of your problem. Then he designs a custom treatment program that will 1) get you out of pain 2) correct the underlying problem to the limits of your body 3) rehabilitate the muscles, ligaments and other soft tissue and 4) help you maintain that relief. Dr. Matt likes to adjust patients both manually and with the Activator adjusting instrument. Dr Matt says if you only know one technique then your limited to how much you can help patients. But if you have several adjusting techniques you can treat many things. This only comes through experience and years of practice. Like all Millar Chiropractors, Dr Matt loves to treat Bulging and Hernaited disc, degenerative disc disease, degenerative facet disease and arthritis of the spine and joints. Dr Matt is fully trained in the Millar Method of treating these conditions.
